Feasibility

Whilst Solar Power can deliver significant benefits, these benefits can vary greatly between even similar organisations.

As a first step, Intero will conduct a brief survey that will provide an initial indication of whether solar power will be suitable for or meet an organisations’ needs.

During that survey, we will gather some basic information about the organisation including:

1. Current Energy Usage and Costs
2. Premises location(s), layout and future expansion or relocation plans
3. Key Drivers –  financial, marketing, environmental

We will also cover some of the intangible factors that may be part of the decision making process.

We can then provide a high level summary and indicative costs and benefits.

As a general rule, solar power may benefit a company that meets some of the below criteria:

1. is a low to moderate user of energy
2. pays more than 12c per kWh for electricity
3. has available roof or secure ground space
4. has large corporate or government customers
5. is committed to improving its environmental credentials
6. owns or manages commercial or industrial property
