Kingsbury

Set in the heart of Melbourne’s west, this Werribee renovation reflects the shift we’re seeing across many homes in the area—where families are investing in spaces that feel calm, cohesive, and ready for modern living. The brief was simple: create a home that feels light, open, and functional, while introducing subtle touches of style that won’t date. From the kitchen through to the alfresco, each zone was approached with clarity and restraint—allowing materials and layout to do the heavy lifting. In the kitchen, we opted for seamless white cabinetry with integrated handles and soft LED lighting. The layout keeps everything within reach while maximising prep and serving space across the central island. A dark splashback anchors the palette and offers bold contrast against the otherwise minimal tones—creating visual interest without overpowering the room. The open-plan layout flows directly into the living area, where the tones remain warm and inviting. The bathroom continues the theme of simplicity with intention. Dual basins and mirror cabinetry enhance the usability of the space without compromising on its clean aesthetic. Outdoors, the alfresco acts as a true extension of the home. With cabinetry, a built-in BBQ, and an overhead rangehood, the space is designed for everyday use and weekend gatherings alike. The pitched timber ceiling adds character and height, while the neutral tile flooring ties everything back into the home’s interior palette. By combining functionality with understated elegance, this Werribee home now speaks to both its surroundings and its future—elevating daily living through well-considered design and smart material choices.
