Kingsbury
“We want it open and spacious so we don’t feel crammed,” was the client’s clear request during our initial consultation. With that vision front of mind, our team got to work transforming their compact home into a calm, cohesive space with a sense of flow and airiness. Discussing what colours will open the room up and make it visually appealing too. The turning point came with the removal of a wall between the kitchen and living room — a move that instantly opened the home and allowed us to design a multifunctional zone across one continuous wall. From the kitchen joinery through to the entertainment unit, the cabinetry flows effortlessly in a single tone, creating a visual calm that makes the room feel far larger than its footprint. The main joinery is finished in Raw Cotton by Laminex — a soft off-white that feels settled and inviting, avoiding the starkness of bright white but still achieving a light, open effect. The benchtop and splashback feature Calacatta Roma by Neolith, offering soft veining and a refined, stone-like finish that anchors the space with subtle elegance. Integrated appliances, including a concealed fridge, were selected for a clean, uninterrupted look, while keeping the clean look with a handless kitchen – the new trend. Omega appliances were installed throughout the kitchen, chosen for both performance and a streamlined, cohesive appearance. With thoughtful planning and tailored craftsmanship, this Kingsbury home now feels open, light, and beautifully connected — just as the clients envisioned.
